This physical world may move slowly
In response to our inner beliefs
But each thought, no matter how lowly
Contains power beyond belief.

You're a powerful child of the Universe,
And you author the life you conceive
You've written your story, each chapter & verse:
For you manifest what you believe.

The soul attracts that which it loves or it fears;
No victim of favor or chance are you,
And slowly, but surely your life comes to mirror
Each secret belief that you've held to be true.

No "spontaneous" act can occur, but proceeds
From the fertile thought held in the mind.
For ideas must always exist before deeds,
And they always produce their own kind.

The mind, it will build its own weapons of pain,
Or the medicine of its own healing.
"Environment's" what you attract & sustain
It's your inner world, outward revealing.

Each negative thought is a weapon of power
You use on yourself in the dark.
Each positive one sows the seeds that will flower
And neither e'er misses its mark.

For life will never reflect what's desired,
It reflects only that which you are.
And if you don't like where your thoughts have you mired,
Then this is the place you must start.

It's futile to war on effects seen without
If you nourish their cause in your heart.
The law of your being yokes action to thought
And will follow the course that you chart.

For it has been said we are made in God's "image,"
Not referring to physical states,
Rather, in substance, we are like our God:
For the Creator's creation creates!

What you carelessly fling out in thought-form
Will take shape and will touch others' lives.
Will it nourish the hunger of some lonely soul?
Was it kind, was it loving, or wise?

And everything travels full circle; it's law.
We attract that which we hold most dear.
Will we cherish out angers? Or cherish our loves?
The path laid before us is clear.

Truly see the perfection awaiting release
And no circumstance long can contain you.
Unshackle yourself from the limits of doubt
And walk free from the fears that would chain you.

Look at the world, what you'd have it to be,
And send forth with strong loving emotion...
Thought after thought, 'til you wouldn't believe
The power & beauty of what you've set in motion!
