Forgiving God

At our discussion group last night, we got into what blocks the intuitive. We decided on fear, fear of fear, and anger.

The anger usually is directed at God who we blame for not giving us what we want or letting us down in some form. We can remove this block through forgiving God. This does not justify or take Him off the hook. Rather it sets us free to continue living our lives. (To the conscious mind this may sound ridiculous, but to the subconscious it makes perfect sense, and that is what creates our reality.)

Fear of fear is directed at ourselves. We resolve to avoid conditions that are fearful and we worry about trusting anyone or risking anything. This is future fear for rarely does it even happen. Staying in the present constantly removes this block.

Fear is a by-product of feeling separate and alone from God. Since we are now solely responsible for our survival, we must be constantly vigilant to all that may harm us. We forget that all is in order and that we are really immortal (our spirit) Giving up control and returning it back to God removes this block.

It was noted that giving up control is practically impossible without entrusting the control back to God. The idea of no control in a dangerous universe is too fearful to accept, so we resist it.

I wanted to share these nuggets with you and ask for your input. Have a nice day.
