In our A Course In Miracles (ACIM) group last week we got on the subject of the innocence of the Child of God. We discussed the teaching of looking past the illusions of the ego, the material world, and seeing only the perfection of God's creation.

All of a sudden I saw innocence in a new way - IN NO SENSE. Seeing with the eyes of Love, we no longer use merely the eyes of the body, but the pure Mind of God. When we use ANY of the body's physical senses we limit our vision to the material world, and thus lose our vision of perfection.

Yet we are here, in a body. What purpose then can the senses serve? ACIM says "you see what you believe is there". When we learn our function, to Love, and choose to use our bodies for our purpose wholeheartedly, we say "THY will be done". Then our physical senses provide evidence of the One Truth that IS, and there is NO SENSE of anything other than Love.
