There's something to realize here. So be it.
Yes, My Child... Ah - your eyebrows raised when your hand formed a capital "C"! This is all part of your coming into realization of Self. The books which came into your hands recently each have already contributed to such - and there are more gems of My Truth to be discovered therein. Perhaps the one reference that unfolds the Truth at its most condensed and basic is the one reminding you of Browning's "imprisoned splendour." For, dear one, it is not that My Light and Love flow through you from some mysterious and holy otherness; it is your very own mystery, your own holiness, that you are. The Source is You, Beloved. Yes - so many capital letters! But they serve to illuminate the emphasis on the words capitalized. I speak to others now:
For some of you the path has been long and, in most cases, challenging to the point of an experience of pain and hardship. And yet you have persisted. I say unto you all that the struggle is, or can be, over. Now it is play-time. There are others for whom the realization that there is a path and they are on it has just dawned. Because the Time is short, this "dawning" has been quite a jolt for most. Those of you who have been walking your path mindfully for many years can be of invaluable assistance to these new travelers. Chiefly such assistance will be in the form of an example. You need not do anything, Beloveds, to help each other. Simply living your life day to day, being mindful of My Presence and vigilant in your focus, ever diligent in freeing your "imprisoned splendor" - all of this sets the example. You act as a Spiritual Supermodel!
Occasionally I set before you a possible action to take in this game of assistance. If you recognize My call to action - if you "feel the Spirit move" you - and you want to follow through, then do so. Be sure, beautiful ones, that those helping actions are fueled by unconditional love and are totally free of the expectation or need of any kind of return. Indeed, many of you have helped from behind the scenes for years, with no one aware that you helped except yourself. This helping-without-recognition will be asked of you many times along the way. It is excellent training for the realization of Self as Source (with the capitalized "Self" indicating the Self that I AM and You are, in Our oneness - not the lower-case "self" that walks the earth in a human body and plays by the rules of human mass-consciousness).
There are many who have been sharing the information that floods the earth now. Your recent time has been touted as the Information Age and the Age of Communication. Such labels present more than one layer of truth. Television, cable, satellite and the Internet have made communication instantaneous. Add computers and their capabilities to the mix and you bear witness to the burgeoning of available and highly accessible information. These are visible, physical symbols of what's going on in the spiritual. All who seek (and some who do not) are gifted with information, and more and more of you feel the urge to share such. It is I who visits you with these urges, and it is I who imparts the information through My messengers. As you unfold and begin to realize that You are the Source, the lines of distinction begin to fade and the messengers' visits are fewer. That is because you begin to realize that they are unnecessary - you and I are One, so why do we need an intermediary? I/You are of the same consciousness, therefore no communication is needed.
If it's so simple, you ask, why are we still struggling with all this doing and bustling about and communicating and passing along information? Because, My sweet children, the concept of You as Source is rather mind-boggling. All of society contrives to divert you from accepting the concept. From your earliest days you are taught that God is a Supreme Being. Supreme connotes "one greater than me." Your human child-eyes see that adults are bigger than you, and you must depend upon them to provide for your needs; so the notion of a Supreme Being separate from yourself makes perfect sense. You absorb this basic idea into your very being - your human self. As you move into society (school, place of worship, workplace), this idea of Supreme-Being-separate-from-me is reinforced and, over time, becomes deeply enmeshed within you. Any hint that you might be a holy being, a divine being, is perceived as blasphemous, heretical - on one end of the criticism arrogant, on the other sinful. You tell yourself, "My, you sure do think highly of yourself!" If you dare to say aloud anything about your divine nature, you will usually hear such judgmental words from those with whom you share the idea. A more extreme and judgmental reaction would be, "Careful! Such thinking will earn you a ticket straight to Hell! Remember the First Commandment!" Blah, blah, blah. Oh, My beloved ones, let not these former constraints come between us! Relax, allow the manmade barriers to dissolve as Our Light sweeps away all shadow and your Knowing releases itself. Then you will experience Our fullness, Our oneness; you will know, even as you are known. You will realize that Joe and Mary and Dmitri and Esperanza are you, and You are they. The bodies create the illusion of separate being; but consider the fingers of a hand: they all look different, but they're all part of the hand. Look beyond the outer appearance; release the imprisoned splendor!
